Alisa McCabe has been a professional bookkeeper and Quick Books ProAdvisor since 2009. She started out working with small contractors and expanded into other businesses. She has experience in the service industry (PR firms, law firms, IT companies, recruiters, etc) as well as construction and e-commerce. She has worked with other accounting platforms; Xero, Wave and Freshbooks. She is a firm believer that all software should work together and has familiarity with apps that compliment these accounting platforms, such as Bill.com, Shopify and Harvest.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from UMass/Dartmouth. She is a Certified Public Bookkeeper and regularly attends accounting and tax classes to stay informed of changes in these areas. She is a member of the National Advisors Network, as well as Vice President of Finance for the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO)- Central region. She is an active member in the Mid-Jersey Chamber of Commerce and co-chair of the Service Club. The Service Club provides the opportunity for children who are 8 to 11 years old who want to volunteer in their community.
When she is not crunching numbers, Alisa enjoys hiking and kayaking with her family in New Jersey and Massachusetts.
